This notice describes how the My shitty month app (PWA/TWA) handles personal data.

1) Data controller

App developer: Il mio mese di merda. Privacy requests: fabiobortoli95@gmail.com.

2) What data is processed

• Data you enter in the app (e.g. salary, expenses, goals, settings).
• This data is stored locally on your device/browser (IndexedDB) and does not require an account.

3) Purpose and legal basis

• To provide personal budget management and local backup/restore features.
• Legal basis: performance of the service you requested.

4) No data sharing and no sale of data

• No sale of personal data.
• Financial data you enter is not sent to a proprietary backend.

5) Third-party services and technical data

Hosting and aggregated technical analytics (Vercel) and web fonts (Google Fonts) may be involved. These services may process technical data such as IP address, user agent and access logs according to their own privacy policies.

On first launch, the app may call /api/locale once (on Vercel) to suggest a language from your country code. The endpoint returns only { locale } — the app does not log or store your IP address.

You can change the language at any time in Settings.

6) Data retention

• Your data stays on the device until you delete it.
• You can export a JSON backup and wipe local data at any time.

7) Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect the service. However, no system is completely risk-free.

8) Your rights

Where applicable (e.g. GDPR), you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection by writing to fabiobortoli95@gmail.com.

9) Minors

The service is not intentionally directed at children under 13.

10) Changes to this notice

This page may be updated from time to time. Changes take effect from the date shown at the top.
